Guide to Request Data Deletion

Follow these steps to delete your Outin account and all associated data. This ensures we verify your ownership and process your request securely in line with data protection regulations.

Step 1: Use the Email Linked to Your Account

Send the request from the email address associated with your Outin account to confirm ownership.

Step 2: Email Subject Format

Use the following format for the subject line:

Request for Account Deletion - [Your Full Name]

Example: Request for Account Deletion - Michael Akanji

Step 3: Email Body Format

Include the following details in your email body:

Dear Outin Support,

I would like to request the deletion of my Outin account and all associated data. Below are the details for verification:

Full Name: [Your Full Name]
Registered Email Address: [Your Registered Email Address]
Date of Birth: [Your Date of Birth]
Reason for Deletion (Optional): [Your Reason]

I have attached a valid form of identification to support this request (Driver’s License, International Passport, or NIN Certificate).

Please let me know if any additional information is required to process this request.

Step 4: Attach a Valid ID

For your request to be processed, you must attach a valid government-issued identification document. Accepted IDs include:

  • Driver’s License
  • International Passport
  • NIN Certificate (National Identification Number)

Step 5: Send the Email

Send the complete email with all the required details and ID attachment to: [email protected]

Step 6: Await Confirmation and Processing

Our support team will review your request and confirm ownership and identity using the submitted information. Once verified, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming that your deletion request is being processed. From the date of that confirmation, your account and data will be deleted within 14 business days.

If you log in to your account during this processing period, the request will be canceled and you’ll need to submit a new one.
